Shabu Shabu in Sacramento :D

A couple of students and I went up to Sacramento for a one day trip to lobby for Cal Grants! It was such an amazing experience and an awesome adventure for the three of us. We finished up a great day by eating some delicious Japanese Shabu Shabu at Heat Shabu Baru.
We started off with some Gyoza, which are pretty much pot stickers. Very very delicious pot stickers. :D
Jessica was working on her chop stick skills. I think she got the hang of it.
Manuel was working on his fly catching skills like Mr. Miyagi. Ahhh Manuelson :D
We got all these veggies, noodles, and tofu to add to our Shabu pot.
I really loved the Spicy Miso pot, but the Spicy Tonkatsu was good too. Mixing the two together was an awesomely delicious combo :D
The meal ended with Green Tea ice cream topped off with Mochi bits.

All in all it was a great way to end such a amazing day. We were blessed to meet a lot of friendly and caring people, and explore new food :D For more information on Heat Shabu Baru, click here.
